Goldie (Reserved)

Goldie is a beautiful brown and white tabby girl who has already proven what an amazing mom she can be. She came to us with a litter of five kittens, and she was an incredibly protective and devoted mama. She made sure her babies were safe and cared for every step of the way.
Goldie is an extremely shy girl and is still learning that people can be trusted. While she was busy being a protective mama, we were able to use her kittens to show her that the humans around her were friendly and meant no harm. She has made progress, but she still needs time, patience, and plenty of space to feel comfortable.
Goldie isn't the type of cat who will instantly run up to greet you—and that's okay! Her person will need to understand that trust is earned slowly. A quiet home with older, respectful children would be best for her, along with people who are willing to let her set the pace.
Goldie would also benefit from living with other friendly cats. Having feline companions around seems to help her feel more secure and gives her some confidence as she navigates new situations.
If you're the kind of person who understands that the most rewarding relationships aren't always built overnight, Goldie may be your girl. Give her time, give her space, and give her a chance—and you'll get to watch a very special little cat slowly discover how wonderful it is to be loved.
